It sounds like a seizure, these are very common in babies and children and are commonly named 'childhood convulsions' My brother had them until he was about 8 and me and my sister had a couple when we were really small. We would just freeze and become 'vacant'. Take her to your doctor and explain what happened, he/she can check her over and tell you what to do next time if it happens again. Children usually grow out of these convulsions in time. My siblings and i are fine now. Good luck x

Well that is so weird I never heard such thing as that. Ok well let me tell you that when you are a mom which you are, Your baby picks up your fears, your sadness, your happiness and ETC,... Sometimes your baby will feel those things or nothing at all they will have a blank look on there faces. For example my daughter she was going to touch a breakable frame and I look at her with concern in my eyes and she gave me a look of fear and the sometime she will make me laugh soo hard we both start laughing with each other. So do not worry it is normal , but be careful with dangerous things around the house or apartment make sure you have a childproofs house, maybe talk to your baby's Doctor what to baby proof your house, or apartment.

that is strange. take her to the doctor or ask for advice from your health visitor. I have a 9 1/2 month old and if I screamed at the top of my lungs there is no way he would not react! i'm not a doctor but is there any history of epilepsy in your family? epilepsy can also manifest itself as day-dreams not just seizures. at the end of the day even if its nothing, surely its better to get it checked out? better safe than sorry. I hope she's ok.

i would call her pediatrician. they will probably have you come in or take her to ER. you can never be too safe when it comes to your babies.
