How much do I pay for import tax from USA to UK?

I want to order some fishing gear (waders and fishing vest from USA and posted to UK. Can anyone tell me how much import duty or custom tax I have to pay. The total cost is 140 US Dollars so approx £70.

For that amount get them to post it and take your chances.
I have bought new things from companies in the US on ebay and there is no question of clearing through customs.


The percentage charged for the items is in the governments list of duties payable...a huge reference manual...............any shipping agent should be able to advise you.
