The only ways are to prevent its generation and dissipating it.

Prevention would include wearing clothing that is not prone to static generation, and not moving across materials that generate static as you cross them. Pretty near impossible to do efficiently.

Dissipation can be easy. Keep a high relative humidity in your space. Sprays can cause dissipation. When you touch an object of opposite charge, hold a quarter in your hand and touch the object with it. You will not feel the dissipation.
