How do you tell your in-laws they are going to be grandparents? I get along with them really well, and they will most likely be happy for us but how do I go about telling them??? I want to do something sort of original. I was thinking making them a card that says like, "Congrats!" on the front and on the inside putting "You're grandparents to be!"

Well when my sister got pregnant, they got us all together for dinner and when you walked in the house, there were pink and blue balloons and baby decorations all over the place and they said 'we're having a baby!'. it was so fun! lol

When we found out we were expecting our first, we sent our families pink, blue and yellow M &M's ( my fave candy) with a card. I took a picture of my husband and I and put it on the front of the card and inside wrote " Something is missing from this picture, but not for long!" Be creative and make it something that fits your personality. There are alot of websites that offer great suggestions on how to break the news in a fun way. :) Congrats!

Well have some fun be creative like complain about pregnancy symptoms and smile a little =) or make cupcakes or cookies that say grandparents to be or something like that....it will be a good treat to eat with some good news.

Go have some balloons blown up that say congratulations and write a note on a card that says "Wishing you the happiest days with your new grand baby. Were pregnant". Send them to the work place so they can show off the good news to all their friends! Good luck and congratulations on your new addition!

If you have an ultrasound picture, take it to walmart or another retail store that has a photo shop and does greeting cards. Have it scanned into their 1 hour kiosk and make a greeting card anouncing the newest member of your family and go hand it to them. I just did this for some newlyweds that were trying to suprise their parents and they all loved it.

Congratulations! Send them a cupcake with a pink and blue booty in frosting drawn on it and see if they figure it out. Have them to dinner and wear a t-shirt with the word "BABY" and an arrow pointing down. Next time you are over their house, ask for pickles and icecream for dessert.

get a small box and put the pregnancy test inside it wrap it up and give it to them, or if you didn't do it that way get a copy of the paper that the doctor gave you and stick it in a card and envelope.

you can buy a little onesie or a bib that says something cute like #1 grandpa or something, and then just hand it to them casually in the bag and say i thought of you when i saw this

we took the in=laws out to dinner at a nice place and told them after we ate.

Have some fun with it, if you think they are able to take it. I asked my in-laws if they remembered how to change diapers...lol It went ok from there. Good Luck!
