Well jewellery designing is a really good option. When u say Designer do u mean fashion designer?..Coz Design is a broader term- with in that you have various specialisations - Product design , Transportation design, Interios space and equipment design, graphic design, display and event design, animation design and film and vidoe design.................Now the final choice is urs................It all depends on ur interest and creative side and does not dependent on popularity..............good luck

Is it possible to do both? Don't they sort of go hand in hand?
You can design a piece of jewelry and then make it (put it together). If you like both, you would probably be good at both.

A designer requires talent and if you have that special gift of designing, then go for it.

Yeah, designing is more creative. And if you have it in you, then I don't think you're going to enjoy a jeweler's job.

designer, because you can create your own designs, so you could also design your own jewelry too :)
