I don't believe in organized religion. A religious organization cannot guarantee your faith.

Well for one thing, the Norse Gods always answer my prayers. I like being Ãsatrú because its ethos match mine. I can be a reasonably good example of an Ãsatrúar; I would never be anything but a marginal, footnoted, trouble making member of any other religion. I like hanging around with people who think that an oath is an oath, for example.
It gives me strength in daily life, it gives me hope that there are actually Gods that care, and that stand with you if times are hard.
Ãsatrú is one of the few religions that doesn't clash with the modern day scientific view on the world, it views the world as it is, a natural place, with many Gods.

In fact, personally, I don't get moments of doubt, because I'm a strong believer. And I believe in God because I have no doubt, and no moments that I get out of the thought that He is the Creator and the Controller of the universe, and nothing can go on out of His perfect sight and knowledge.

One day my baby son was playing in his indoor swing. I was washing the dishes. Suddenly I was moved across the room, my hand was stretched out above my son's head, about shoulder height and the chain supporting the swing snapped. I caught it. I'm convinced my son would have been seriously harmed. If anyone could explain this to me, I would be very interested.
I've had lots of answers to prayers, but this incident in my life has no answer that I can accept - no premonition, no coincidence. I just don't know. If it wasn't God, then what happened?

I'm Buddhist, it's not much of a "religion" per se, but the logic and common sense of the Buddha's teachings keep me analyzing and questioning the answers... and we don't believe in a creator god.

I believe in Christ, not religion.
"The peace of God passes all understanding"
Pretty much, when I have doubts, I praise God. Then he reveals himself to me. Worship is an amazing thing... If only people used it the way God designed it...

The protection power of God Almighty . Psalms - 91
1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
