Things to do- 12 yr old boy and Mom in Mahopac NY or Danbury CT?

Hi, there!
Long story, but my son's with his dad in LI, and I already moved Upstate NY. So, we're meeting up mid-way, and we're all painfully new to the Mahopac/Danbury areas.
Anyone know of fun things to do? The internet gives me movies, libraries, and skating.
Good start, but not enough for every weekend.
Anything you think is fun (and decent for 12 yr old!) is welcome!

Take a look in your local paper they usually have a section that tells u wats on. Hope this helps.
