It can be hard moving away from people you care for. I moved away for 10 years but I still remained close and these days you have the Internet to keep in touch. You'll find a rush of excitement every time you come home and see all the people you missed.

It is hard but you can make it easier on yourself too.

Good luck!

You are lucky to feel like this about your parents. Love is hard and it hurts when you go away, but it's great when you get together again. The best way is to concentrate on your next trip to see them...don't think of the time in between. Write often, phone as much as possible or email etc. I moved VERY far from my family, and my daughter did the same...we're all over the place...but we still love each other to bits...and just pick up the conversation we left off on our previous meetings like we've never been apart! It's hard sometimes...but it's life.

We are close to our children and i have the same dilemma. We would love to go to Spain to live and open a small business over there. The only thing that is stopping us is ME. I hate the thought of leaving my two children and my Grandson behind. I know you can get them to visit or we could coome back and visit them, but its still not the same as seeing them every week is it?

Why do u want to relocate? Do u have to? Decide wat u want more your parents or your dreams. I would follow my dreams but listen to wat your heart is telling u to do.
