I have several cats with pink noses - they are indoor-outdoor cats. When they come in from outside when it is cold out their noses are lighter then they are a couple hours later. I kinda liken it to a peson's rosy cheeks when they come in from the cold. They are healthy and vacinated cats.

Check the kittie's gums and mouth if you suspect that the kitty may be sick. If they are pale too, then I would take the kitty in for a complete veterinary exam and also discuss your concerns with the vet. Better to prevent a health problem NOW with a vet visit then to wait and have to shell out thousands of dollars to save a very sick cat.

We had a cat whose nose used to go quite pale at times for no apparent reason. He normally had a lovely pink nose so it was a bit odd at first to see it looking so pale but it seemed to just be what his nose did and 'normal service' was always resumed! The fact your kitten's got a good appetite sounds positive but you sound as if you could do with being reassured by someone like a vet or a veterinary nurse. They'd probably be quite happy to talk to you over the 'phone and would ask what they needed to in order to establish whether he needed to be seen by them or not. He sounds lovely, btw and I hope he's ok and that you have a very happy life together!

if your cats nose is turning whiter from time to time this could mean anemia. Be sure that your cat is able to eat, drink and go to the bathroom normally. If it doesn't then this is a sign your kitten could be sick and needs to see a vet quickly since they are so easily prone to die quickly from illness and diseases.

A cats nose is an indication of its temperature and blood pressure. When it is active and running around the blood is flowing better and the nose will be pinker. It's like when you run around and your cheeks turn pink. Same thing.

If the cats nose is changing color, please also check Kitty's gums to make sure they are nice and pink.
If they also seem to look pale then kitty needs to be seen by a Vet.
He could be anemic

Maybe it's an infection, or your cat can just be really unique.
