Some people eat more because they put high demands on their body. I have the same habit. I only eat when I'm hungry but I tend to eat 2 times a day.y If you have a healthy weight and you eat when you feel like it there's no problem. The desire to eat is determined by your daily actions. You could try exercise to work up an appetite the body tends to have the desire to eat after physical actions.

As long as what you do eat is healthy and you don't have any signs of illness, I think it's fine. Everyone has a different metabolism and food need. If you don't have a sense of smell, that will cut your appetite. Some people develop a food aversion in childhood due to an illness or allergy and it stays in them long after they've forgotten the reason. You might want to ask your doctor at your next visit just to be sure there's nothing lurking that you need to be concerned about.
Or maybe your family took all the hunger genes:)

Just to make you feel better, my boyfriend and I are the same way.
Its bad for your metabolizim and you should get a minimum of 1,200 calories a day.
I get a lot of heat from my friends about it. They say I am anorexic but I am 5'4 and 140lbs and wear a size 8.
The way I see it. I have energy. I sleep well. I am happy. Back in the day our ancestors used to have to fast and hunt for their food. One meal a day isnt anything our bodies havent been built for.
This isnt good medical advice. I am just saying, I am the same way. If that helps.

eating that little isnt healthy. it could be a medical condition, so you'll have to go get that checked with a doctor. for now, you can try and have some high protein shakes, or eat anything you desire (that looks good) but in bigger quantity. do some exercise & running, that will usually increase hunger. also try to eat breakfast even if you're not hungry. it will boost your metabolism and you will have energy. make some pancakes with maple syrup, and a nice glass of oj and a piece of toast with peanut butter. have fun with it =)

Take some iron pills. I went through the same thing, I'd go 2-3 days sometimes before realizing that I hadn't really eaten anything. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with anemia, I started taking iron pills and that took care of it.

just leave it the way it is . as you get older things will change. that's what happened to me . or you might have inherited a set of different genes from your ancestors and you will always be one of those fortunate people who never have any weight problems.Dont worry about it as long as you dont feel sick

If you have been like this all your life, then don't worry about it. If you want to eat more, just snack more. Heathily of course.
But, you don't sound unhealthy at all.
