I wouldn't say they helped me regain mental health...I learnt to do that in other ways. But for many years the care I had was great and they helped me to maintain a healthy level of living.

Yes but my treatment was a long time ago.The services in the NHS regarding mental health can be a post code lottery nowadays.Also long term shelter in hospitals is in many cases no longer available because land is being sold by health trusts for housing.

Yes. I lived in America for 12 years post diagnosis and the treatment there was as first class as my NHS treatment here. The NHS has helped me enormously in the 3 years since I got back as did my treatment in the USA.

When I lived in the UK i went totally crazy & was put in hospital the NHS did nothing. Since i am american i came to the US and was diagnosed Bipolar & Igot treatment. GOOD LUCK TO YOUe

F*U*C*K NO. i actually went there last june for an eye treatment. and i NEED to have an OPERATION... take a guess on what date they gave me the final appointment for the operation.... NEXT MONTH.
