In all the footage I've seen of that recently found Missouri boy, I've yet to see him smile once, or act happy that he was found, however the younger one seems overjoyed to be reunited with his parents. Do you think it's because of all the "supposed" things he went through, or because he actually wasn't having a bad time at all?? I think we all can agree something seems voodoo...

He is 14. Do you remember being 14? It's an insecure age and then the whole world is seeing you on TV. Think it might be a little intimidating. He has been through a lot. I am sure he is very confused about what he feels. I'm sure he has spent this past 4 years trying to feel nothing. Sexually abused children find a way of dealing with things. They have a tendency to mentally remove them selves from what is physically happening to them. They put there mind some place else. I'm sure that this young man will have to have a lot of counseling before he can trust again. The other child was younger by three years and was only gone for 4 days. You don't have time to change much in four days.

He's been through a horrific ordeal, and he's got to re-adjust to being back home. He was probably molested and has trauma from that and is having a difficult time with everyone wanting to know what happened, etc. He's going to need a lot of therapy. It will take a long time before he appears happy, he's got a lot to deal with at such a young age.

let me ask u this after all the crap that that little boy had happen to him would u be alright and happy if it happened to u? What u want him to jump up and down because he was raped, kidnapped, abuse, mental tramatized? Think about it. My heart reaches out to that little boy. Although I agree with the one person on here that said the family is exploiting that little boy. He don't need the public in his business he needs his parents to be there.

One, because he has been severely traumatized. Two, he's most likely become very desensitized over the years. (it's a survival technique) And three, because his parents will not insist on absolute privacy during this time, but continue exploiting him by holding press conferences, interviews, etc... He needs time to become reacquainted with his family, his environment, and himself, and he hasn't been given the opportunity.

I believe tht he is still torn inside about what happened, but i also believe frm all the clips and his interview w/oprah tht he could have called sum1 or ran away! Because he said himmself tht there was a phone, he got to go outside and plaay and the he played videogames and stuff! SO put 2 and 2 togeher

The poor kids been through hell, and he has to get to know his parents and family again. He's going to need help, but hopefully will adjust happily someday and find peace with his family and life.

His Poor, Troubled Brain, is a pile of MUSH! It's gonna have to be handled by someone who can restore some trust in everything that he sees. Love, God, And his Family. Is the only thing that will work. Prayers will be gratefully appreciated, I'm sure.
