go to a barber, they will get it extremely close, and use a growth inhibiting cream...like the kind women use for their waxed regions...
The only reason I'm not recommending waxing your head is the fact that it thins out the hair and some won't ever grow back. But if you are already balding and know your genetic disposition is grave. and want to be bald for the rest of your life, go ahead, wax on, wax off! You'll have a head so smooth, and silky, women won't be able to keep their hands off it...lol...no pun intended!
Warning: first time around, waxing will hurt like hell, but don't take ibuprofen since it thins out the blood and might cause bleeding to occur...second time you go"whats all the fuss about! I could fall asleep through this!"

Well, you can try Nair or Veet. It eats away the hair so the smoothness lasts longer, but I don't know if it is good to use on your head. Just keep it away from your eyes or you'll go blind.

The best product i have found is nair. It goes on for 5 mins rinse off and leaves your head shiny and smooth. Just remeber to rinse off after 5 mins or it will burn and hurt!! for sure!!!
