where can i find vitamin E???

Will it heal scars? I have a scar on my knee and arm. What does Vitamin E look like????

Little golden gel caps, and you can buy them anywhere. You can poke a needle into it and spread the gel on any cut and it will help heal it faster....its great. Also, taken orally once a day is good to keep your blood running thin. They are small and easy to swallow.

Other research, however, suggests that applying Vitamin E to post surgical scars does not reduce the size, shape, or color of scars and can, in up to one third of patients, result in contact dermatitis, allergic reactions, or other irritation that can worsen a scar's appearance.

Best thing is to have high intake of vegetables and less meat/seafood currently.

Try aloe vera. It is a large, 1 1/2 foot long, cactus leaf, that can be found in any green grocer. You cut slices of it and rub the the goo on the wound. Works like a charm for healing and reducing scarring. You can get Vitamin E in almost any drug store, although I suspect that you external wounds will not be able to absorb much unless it is an ointment.

You can find vitamin E at any drug store, grocery store, WalMart. They are amber colored capsules. Sometimes you can find it in a bottle like a lotion. Yes it does promote healing. Read the label. With the capsule, you will have to pop it open to use.
