does any one know where and how to open windows to boot into the cd with out using a keyboard. Thanks. I can use the computer with on board keyboard but I need a keyboard. Everything else works great.

my computer was working accept for the keyboard so I was using the keyboard that is on the computer. The problem is that I need to re do the xp and the message says my version is too new . go figure. but I can close the computer and turn it on but with out the keyboard I cannot use the esc or the F8. because I have no keyboard. I was thinking there was something I could use on the computer so when i turn it off it will reboot on the disc, but now I can turn it on and after it is on with the windows ID it goes blank. go figure. well, any suggestions will be great thank you

Lynn, you gotta do better than that if you want help. I can't understand what the problem is nor what you're trying to do.
