If you are already in the UK and studying, your college or university should give you Form FLR(S) or download the form from the link below.
Your college or university must complete and stamp part of the form to confirm your attendances and provide a letter certifying that you are enrolled as a full-time student.
You then send the form with your passport and a cheque (a cheque is cheaper than postal orders) and other documents.
You should do this around four weeks before your visa expires.
