hmm i really wanna get those two places but im not sure if its trashy, im only 18 and i know my boyfriend would HATE it, but its my choice right!! what do you think looks hott, but not trashy....

well i know of people who have both.
i think it is all about your personality and how you carry yourself.
that will determine whether or not it is trashy or not.
if a girl is know to have been around the block a few times(if you know what i mean) gets her tongue pierced, then i would think that she got it for the attention of guys.
but if a girl, like you, who has a boyfriend, and isn't know to be very trashy gets it, then it shouldn't be a problem.
personally, i have a difficult time having a conversation with someone who has their tongue pierced. its just too distracting to me.
but i have nothing against the people who do have it, because as you said, its your choice.
a piercing right under the bottom lip, which is called a labret, really doesn't look good on everybody. you have to have the right face shape to pull it off.
if you have a longer face, i wouldn't suggest it.
but if you have a round-ish, or square-ish face, then i think you could pull it off.
but i would go with the labret first, i would prefer that over a tongue piercing!

First of all, piercings DO NOT leave holes in your face. It's a myth created by the prudish people that are afraid of different things. If you're from a small town this is a little more common. I've had piercings and since I've taken them out, you never would have known I had them. I have also saw the same with friends. Now tatoos are a different story. Or those earrings that gage big holes in your ear. Plus a lot of guys think it's very sexy. When I had my lip pierced a lot more guys seemed to noticed me. It makes you stand out from other girls. Yes it is your choice. Never let any man tell you how and how you should not look. There are many men that will accept you for you in every single way. Although you should make sure it would be ok with you employer. So no, just a few are not trashy at all. They're modern.

I personally do not like them. It is your choice, but by doing that, you eliminate a lot of chances for a love life because most guys HATE it. It hurts, though. Very much. My aunt pierced her belly button and said it hurt SO BAD! But, i actually think a pierced belly button looks great. Tattoos are really not my thing because it's permanent and i don't want ink on my body. I think just a simple earring on the ear is pretty, but still reserved. Overall, body piercing in my opinion, looks pretty trashy.
PS. If you do choose to get a body piercing, get it pierced at some professional place.

When I wanted those piercings everyone said I'd look trashy.. but thats only because people can't imagine you with them or it's just not their style... now that I have them people are used to them and think they are cute.. it really depends on how you present yourself.

Go for it! I have my labret done and I love it!! Everyone told me not to get it done but it was what I wanted so I got it. Now, they are used to it and don't even notice it's there. Even my strict christian grandmother doesn't mind it. Your boyfriend has the right to his opinion but in the end it's your body to do with it what you wish. Some of the other people who have answered obviously don't have piercings. They are more than happy to sit back whilst life happens around them rather than living. Get it pierced!

umm I don't care what any1 says...
my tongue is pierced and I LOVE IT... i love how it looks... both on females and males... specually on guys.
I mean on some ppl it looks trashy but I kno I'm not. so I don't care about what other ppl say.
I want to acutally get my clit pierced and my bf said he'll break up with me if I do... so I respect his opinion... but I made sure he respects it's something I want. I'm just to coward to go get it lol. somethin about some stranger seein down there makes me coward
If it's something you want, and you're comfortable with the stigmas that come with the piercings. go right a head and do it and 4get what ppl would think

it sounds like it must be contaminated. I doubt it has something to do with who pierced you, some piercings in basic terms dont take to particular human beings. i might attempt getting a greater ring mutually because it heals so as that there is not any longer lots tension on it. additionally, you could sparkling it, I consistently used heat water and salt myself. If it doesnt sparkling up , i might recommend taking it out. the incontrovertible fact which you had your lip finished 5 years in the past and it continues to be sore is a demonstration that your physique is probable rejecting it so i might def. take it out

I think it is gross personally. It is hard to take someone seriously during a conversation if they have a piece of metal or jewel hanging below the lip, (or in other instances on the lip, above the lip....etc).
The only body piercings I like include the belly button. It is sexy when you show it off, but you can also keep it hidden.

well i think it takes a lots of guts to do that firstly & secondly you should be bold enough to bare it if its in places which can be shown. Trashy... isn't the right word for it though.

Trashy, besides the infections it can cause. I have heard the tongue is a killer. You have to watch out for everything, and one has to eat that is just natural. You are right, it is your choice though. We all make bad choices then pay for it later in life.
