How can I avoid accidentally falling in love again?

Me and this engaged girl became really good friends, and we just got closer and closer, then we started having sex. We both thought we were very attractive and had great personalities - but we knew “we” couldn't happen… but it did, and know I hate myself for it and feel lost from a lost love and broken friendship that could and should never have happen in the first place.

Nobody accidentally falls in love, you spend time together, you make a conscious decision to be together and you have sex, it's not an accident, it's deliberate.
If you feel yourself drawn to a woman who's involved with someone else, don't walk, run away, as fast as you can, it's not worth the pain you'll cause and pain you'll have, when it blows up in your face.
Wait for a woman who's free to be with you, and only you, completely, heart, mind, body and soul, not a woman who's made a promise to commit herself to someone else, because if she cheats on him she'll cheat on you.
Nobody deserves that, look for love in the right places, not in someone else's back yard.

the point of love is that you try, and yeah, you might get hurt but thats all part of it. no pain is worth giving up love for.

like they say, love is a game. it doesnt really matter if you win or lose, just that you got to play. and if you lose, fine - there will be other games. it's all worth it because when you do win, it feels so good.

I don't think that the engaged girl will be enagaged for very long at this rate. If she wants to be with her fiance then she has been very irresponsible and foolish. If she wants to be with you and knows that you want to be with her then she will chose to be with you.

So...if she doesn't choose you then you need to realise that she is a bit of a messed up, selfish person, probably using people to boost her own feelings of importance.

Try looking at you own taste and why you want to be with girls like that. Perhaps you should find a trustworthy partner who doesn't need to play mind game to have fun.
