is killing terrorists a sin?

i mean, its killing to save lives, so it the right thing, right?

Yes, killing is a sin. Even though terrorists kill, dosen't mean they should be killed. God makes them kill for a reason. Perhaps it was time for a lot of people to die at the same time. You shouldn't mess with fate.

The commandment says, "You shall not murder."

Killing in self defense, a just war, and lawful capital punishment are not considered murder.

However many Christians including Catholics believe most modern governments no longer need to use capital punishment to protect society from criminals.
