evil = existence
good = non-existence

evil = beast
good = spirit

Is there a way for the beast and the spirit to live in 'harmony' with one another? What about the existent(physical universe) and the non-existent(spiritual universe)?

Judd M: I mean the spiritual world is non-existent in our 'existence'. It could be that we precieve our existence in less dimensions that there actually are, and that 'spirits' do exist right here around us, maybe even like in the form of dark matter or something we are just not able to measure. Anyway, it does seem like the biggest 'war' here on yahoo is between 'spirits' and 'material' and theologians normally have this war with the 'beast' and as you might know the Devil is in fact the God of the Flesh.
Flesh = matter

The word evil spells lived backwards and refers to the past tense.
The key here is for the spirit to be under the physical body.

The spirit is light and gives life to the body.
Light cannot be done away with.
The beast refers to the physical body or matter.
Matter can change form but also cannot be done away because it is also light though slowed down. This is E=M

Your equations do not add up. They are not equivalents. I assume by beast you mean flesh and are seeking to explore the relationship between flesh and spirit in the fallen state?

You cannot say that the spiritual dimension is non existent - perhaps you mean immaterial?

There is a way for the material to be in harmony with the immaterial provided there is no introduction of evil. Otherwise flesh, being the irretrievably fallen part wars against spirit being the redeemed or renewed part and there is no way harmony or reconciliation can ever be achieved. Just as gravity always drags a balloon down yet if it is lighter than air so the air always forces it up.

For a being that has knowledge of good and evil there will be no internal war if it always chooses good. By always choosing good the effect is to war against any external being that has chosen evil or is following evil.

If that being with knowledge of good and evil chooses evil then it will be plunged into an internal war against it's own knowledge.

Your question is not clear or I do not understand it.

We are not talking about armies that may or may not make peace but about laws that always, without interruption, operate.

Romans chapter 8 says that the flesh is enmity against God. Enmity means that there can be no reconciliation. The devil and God can never achieve reconciliation because Satan has already been condemned and his fate has already been pronounced in God's word. God will not alter his word.

Light and darkness are always at odds.

But turn on the lamp at home and see who wins.

sidenote: The non-existant actually exists.

You need to get to know God or you will never understand the answer to this question. Satan wants you to compromise. God will not compromise with sin and neither will Christians.
