Stands for Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder. A common developmental and behavioral disorder. It is characterized by poor concentration, distractibility, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness that are inappropriate for the child's age. Children and adults with ADHD are easily distracted by sights and sounds in their environment, cannot concentrate for long periods of time, are restless and impulsive, or have a tendency to daydream and be slow to complete tasks.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder is characterised by an inability to concentrate, coupled with bad behaviour as a result of boredom and overexcitement.
Some argue that this label is a bad idea, because it covers up a range of more specific disorders, as well as letting irresponsible parents off the hook for feeding crap to their children.

It's a liberal excuse for deplorable behaviour. In the good old days a quick slap from the teacher reminded us we were not in a classroom for a social chat, but there to learn.
