When a man says he "like" you that can mean many different things.Before you take him back, you should ask him what he mean by "he likes you." His reply will lead you to you answer.
Katie k, there is always a reason why an ex- is an ex-, but if you all can get bye this reason, that is a "good thing" for making back.Ask him about that too, OK.
