tell me it's a sin because of deuteronomy 22:5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment; for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.

so is it wrong. I believe that is still part of the new covenant since it deals with moral issues?

Since there were no jeans in biblical times, I think you're safe.

In this day and age, I think jeans are a very unisex garment. Obviously when considering what constitutes "male garments" and what constitutes "female garments", one has to consider the time period and the culture.

Let me give you an example - men wore kilts in Scotland. Some may argue that a kilt was skirt-like, and hence a female garment. However, for that particular culture, kilts were associated with males.

This is true, but the fabric doesn't make the person, and jeans are made for women, also. Women who farm, especially, have to wear something durable and warm. I don't think that God will hold this against them in the judgment.

If you read other parts of the Bible, also, makeup, tattooing, ear piercing and other such things are considered wrong.

Christians follow the new testaments dude, the old testaments are only use as reference. If what is mentioned in the old is mentioned in the new, then its a sure yes we have to follow. You can check the new testaments if its in there.

But personally, don't be rigged about everything mentioned in the bible. What I mean is don't study the bible because its part of the religion, study it because you want to know the truth.

i think when it says that either it means we shouldn't wear guys clothes. like tomboy or whatever or that was the old testemtn. i'm not saying completley dont look at the old testament but for example in the old testemant you werent supposed to eat pork...i think people are just taking it too far with the entire pants thing.
