pretty much any 3rd party software has that capability. Though you should have MSN MEssenger on your machines this will be the most easiest way to communicate (because it is already there, no need to install other programs)
If your looking for something where you can use a conventional telephone style system then Skype is probably your best bet as they produce telephone style handsets. One thing to remember though if you have broadband and use any internet based communication. I.E. MSN Messenger, Yahoo or AOL they are all FREE. So your literally spoilt for choice.

Which ever you choose your are going to be only limited by the power of your two machines Web cams communications may break up of have serious lag (slow down)

Hope this helps

Get MSN Messenger, you can either choose to audio chat or video, or combine the both and audio chat while on video, it's an ace little programe and simple to use. =)

No, i'm afraid no longer. no longer even Skype can do 3-way calls. Your superb wager is for each of you to acquire a software like ooVoo, which permits you to have 3-way conversations. although, you purely get to do 3-way conversations for loose for a month (31 days), after which you get charged, i think of it relatively is approximately 10cents a minute. wish this facilitates!
