Try using a small amount of sugar 1tea, with some oil, almond oil or baby oil. rub this on your hands to take away the dead skin, wash with soap and water. Now apply some good hand lotion and a layer of Petroleum than jelly, put on some thin Cotton gloves and wear this at night wile you sleep. You'll find that this will help you skin.

I also have dry hands because of constant hand washing and glove wearing, and I was told to put on vicks vapor rub, and gloves, and boy it did work for me! Also works on the feet.

There is a hand salve called Burt's Bees... it works great and you can find it in the US at any CVS, Walmart,Walgreen's or Rite-Aid !

cocoa butter creme really helps. I play the cello and my hands have calluses and i use the cream and it helps
