i want to find my brother and sister?

when i was three my dad died and i have not seen his side of the family since then. im 21 now. i recently contacted my aunt but she wont give me any information on my sis and bro. i know where my grandma lives but she refuses to have anything to do with me cause she blames my mom for my dads death(he was a alcoholic and commited suicide). i cant afford anything or anyone to try to track them down. their names are jessie and juile howard... i know they still live in kansas. any advice would greatly be apriciated

they are my half sister and brother) my mom remarried and my stepdad adopted me.... my sister and brothers mom refused to let them see me. my dads whole family blames my mom for my dads death and wont have anything to do with me but since we are older i cannot find any way to contact my sister and brother

There is a good chance they are looking for you too. Why were seperated from you siblings? Do you all have the same last name? Finding them should not be so difficult. If an adoption agency was involved, then you need to contact that agency and leave a message there that you are looking for your siblings. They could have been in contact with their agency also in the past few years looking for you. Get on community boards in Kansas and post a message everywhere. Look in the white pages for anyone with the same last name. Search high school sites and leave messages there. Dig up the old obiturary (can be found at your local library in the city that your father died) on you fathers death and try and get names of your fathers side of the family from there. Look in ancestory.com and leave messages there. Usually you can find someone who is willing to help for free at any one of these sites. The secret is to start searching now and get the word out. Usually family is the best way, but they can misguide you and purposly give out the wrong info if they don't think what you are doing is right. I have helped two friends find family members. One friend has been search for over 20 years without much effort and success. I posted a message on an adoption board and we found her adopted sister in less than 2 years. Her sisters daughte was checking out the site and recongnized her mothers name posted there. Another friend talked about finding her siblings, again I posted a message just before Christmas, and her full sister contacted her days before Christmas. It takes hours of searching on the net. Telling your story over and over and over again. Listening and taking all the advice people have to offer. At least you know where and who they are. You may hear a lot of negative stories about your mother from what you mentionned in your question. You need to tone these out, don't take them personnaly and stay focus. That is the best place to start. Good luck, in the end the rewards are worth it, if you keep your expectations to a minimum.

i tryed looking for you on myspace and yellow pages i know how you feel because i didn't know my dad until last year(in like march 2006)i didnt know him or i havent seen him my whole life until the weekend before holloween i life in a program (i am 14 right now) with all girls and half of them get restrained (i dont and 15% other girls dont get restrained out of 100%) i live with like 30 girls in one house and when my mom told me that someone found us she told ome guess who found us i thought she meant the cops so i said the cops and i have been trying to find my dad my whole life because i didnt know how to find him i have been trying to find him forever and so i said the cops and she said n o think again so i did and i thought about it for a little and i said oh my god my dad and she said yes and i started crying because i was so happy and he lives across the courtry i live in salem M.A and he lives it L.A in california and so his sister fould us on myspace and then she told me that my aunt found us and so she told me that that when i was ready that i could call her so i tryed to stop crying (i stoped like a half an houre to an hour later) so i called her and she told me about my dad and everybody that came in my life left my life (except for my mom) so my mom told my aunt to talk to my dad and make shure he wont leave or any thing and he said he wanted to stay in my life so my mom said ok and the next day i called him or he called me and i started to cry because i was so happy that i finally talked to him for the first time in my whole lifeand in febuery i am going to california to see him and we are going to have a party and i am going to meet his side of the family for the first time and i talk to him at home and at my program.well i hope you have good luck and i helped you as much as i could i well keep looking for you because i know how you feel and how depressed it maked me feel and i will keep both of the names in my mind and am going to keep looking for you!!! i am writing there names down right now..
