When considering an exercise program, make sure to have the three major components of any exercise program represented. Cardiovascular training, resistance training, and flexibility training. All three are critically important for achieving optimum health and fitness. How much of one component you have versus another depends upon your individual goals, but all must be there.
All conditioning programs must start and end with a solid dose of flexibility training. Traditional stretching, yoga, Pilates or even therapeutic massage can decrease stress, improve posture, reduce chronic pain and significantly improve athletic performance. Flexibility training promotes a healthy range of motion around your joints so that movement becomes easier.
Cardiovascular or aerobic training is anything that elevates your heart rate for an extended period (more than 90 seconds).
Examples include walking, jogging, hiking, biking, aerobic dance, tennis, basketball and swimming. When done regularly for 20 or more minutes, "cardio" will help with long-term weight control, disease prevention, stress reduction, improved mood and increased energy.
Resistance training, or strength training, is any form of exercise that provides enough resistance to get muscles to the point of fatigue within 90 seconds.
Resistance can come from body weight against gravity, barbells and dumbbells, weight machines, rubber resistance bands, and even water.
When done regularly, resistance training will improve posture, decrease pain, improve joint stability, increase bone density and dramatically improve body shape.
Hope this helps

the difference between hiking and jogging is that people actually enjoy hiking...its a sort of bring your food and family to see the tree's type thing. while jogging is what people do to feel athletic but in reality its so they can get home faster

I think a hike is more like a fast pasted walk for most people in which your useng more muscle groups that than you do for regullar walking or joging. A ramble is a slow hike closer to walking.

Tulips, wild flora, azaleas, roses, daisies, Foxglove, Iris, and daffodils are perennials and can come again each and every yr. Annuals I don't plant on account that I don't wish to must plant flora each and every yr. The flower will say on it if it is an annual or a perennial.

In MY opinion:
Jogging - moving at a slow running pace on streets and paths.
Hiking - exploring nature on tracks and in all terrain at a walking pace (regardless of speed of walking pace).
