Do you think it's really that hard to find soul-mate?

Do you really think it's that hard to find a soul-mate? People make such a big deal about it, yet when I waited and did something after my ex and I broke up, I found a new lover, whose now my soul-mate. Is it really that hard? Or do people just get lucky? What's your thoughts on this or your scenerio?

I think love is what you make of it. Some people are lucky enough to find and have a soul mate, others never get that break or are simply too blind to see what they have got. I think if you love someone enough you can pretend they are your soul mate and live happily ever after.

I have learned that no matter how great it seems at the time people change. Peoples wants and needs change. You might get along great at year 1, but the next year something else may catch your interest that the other has no desire for, and that causes separation of the minds and then yall start going in different directions until it is not working out. That is why I think people should not get married until they are older, like around 35. By then you are pretty much set in your ways and can find someone to fit in it, with the same interest and likings, and it may work out until your death like it is supposed to work out.

As you already said , people get lucky. But then you may find some one as your soul-mate now but that may not last for ever!! the word "soul-mate " cannot be decided one-sided. It shd be the feeling from both the partners

It would depend on how you define "Soul Mate!" Everyone has a slightly different definition.

The best answer I can give is yes it's very hard to find one simply because most people are so close minded they can't accept or deal with (handle) their partners differences. These differences usually involve relationships, morals, ideals, sex, etc and what is permissible within their respective confines.

Sometimes, it may not be that tough to find a soul mate. Forutnate people who are pretty clear in their minds and hearts who they are looking for and who they are likely to be good for, find a soul mate kind of quickly. It's like walking in a store and trying to find a red hat; and sooner or later, you are going to find a red hat. Your true soul mate is also likely to be attracted to you, because if you vibrate a kind of energy or vibe which he or she can identify and relate to; wow, i guess you would both be destined to engage in lots of soul bonding and soul searching together.

Anybody whom you marry and commit to spend the rest of your life IS your soul-mate.

Now, -after you're married, - you may find others, both of the same gender and opposite gender that you seem to 'connect' with, - maybe even better than your spouse. That's well and good, -but you don't get divorced for 'green pastures'.

i think it's only hard for people who's soul-mateis harder to find, for some people their soul-mate is right there so it's not as hard. as for me i found my soul-mate and he's right there...i guess some people get lucky. :-]
