I, personally, like to go to www.Behr.com They have a great tool which allows you to see what the colors look like together.

Behr paint is good but, I realize it's expensive for some people so, it's a still a good idea to use their color selection tools and then if you need a less expensive paint instead, just try to match their colors with other brands. Not too difficult and any paint counter (yes, even Wal-Mart) will match colors for you.

Yes, there are two basic ways, depending on your personality. Either matching shades, or contrasting colors.
