It's like getting a tattoo OH IT HURTS. Just kidding its a needle goin to you arm and it's going to be there a minute or 2. It's not bad at all I promise. Giving blood hurts compared to this and that's nothing. Don't worry and relax. If I'm not mistaken most of the other answers said sorta the same ting. I just told you a little more. Believe me it's nothing. You've been bit by a mosquito that hurt worst. Don't worry about, after it's over you'll lol as why you were worried. I do hope I've helped or at least helped you know it's nothing really.

It just feels like a very small pinch. I've had lots of blood tests done before, and here are some tips:
Tell the people at the hospital/doctor's office that you're nervous. Sometimes they'll assign you to a nurse who's known for being particularly calming and/or gentle.
Also tell the nurse. If you're nervous about being sick or passing out, they'll let you lie down instead of sitting up.
As far as actually drawing the blood, it's not very bad at all. Like I said, it's just a little pinch, and if you stay COMPLETELY still, you won't feel anything until the nurse takes the needle out (another tiny pinch). Don't look at it if you think it's going to make you more nervous. A good nurse will talk to you and distract you if you're nervous, and that'll make it go by really quickly. It's not very bad at all, I promise!

Like they said don't look at the needle at any time during the drawing. You will feel a poke that will sting for a few seconds. And when they pull the needle out you will feel that also, the same thing as above. As for the drawing, you won't feel the blood being collected. Good luck.

doesn't hurt at all just look away and be grateful that blood tests are very good at detecting problems now or in the future.
