Your name gives your game away Mr. Dostoevsky 'Crime and Punishment'. I hope you are not planning what Raskolnikov did...very silly boy to come on here and talk about it if you are.

Wow... um, unusual situation.
Is it wrong? If you're asking yourself that question it may mean you're not very comfortable with it. Many people will not accept that and see her as a cradle snatcher and, if she's rich, you as a gold digger.
However, I think it's great that you've formed such a close relationship over such a large age gap. Speaking as someone who just got over being in love with someone a bit older than me I might say that the problem would be less the relationship between the two of you than the practicality of it, and the social pressure. Having said that, there could be the problem of inequality because she's so much wiser and more experienced than you. Can she see you as an equal and vice versa when there's so much difference between you?
You also have to consider the problem of your friends. Would they be able to accept your having a relationship with someone that much older? You also haven't said if she loves you back. If she doesn't, it could be very awkward.
Basically: good for you, but there are so many practical difficulties to this relationship that you'd both have to work really hard and be very lucky for it to work out. Good luck! :)

Im very sorry to say but while it isnt wrong to have such an age gap I think it is a bad choice to do so. Again sorry to have to say this but lets face it she is 71 which means she has a MAXIMUM of around 20-30yrs left on earth IF she is lucky. Could you really handle losing her while your in your 30s or 40s and your life apparently begins there?
I think a lot of heartache will come of this in the end. Do what makes you happy and again im sorry to have to be so blunt.

Think I'd need to know a bit more about your background and hers before passing judgement.
Just remember life is short and every piece of happiness is a priceless blessing. Who are we to judge what isn't and is not love?
Good luck my lovely.

yeah i think shes a little old for you, like 49 years older. yeah she probably does have a lot of wisdom, but think of this: what do you think you'd look like walking around with a 71 year old woman, and you're like holding hands and all that stuff. sure you can think of her as a good friend or something, but the way you're thinking of her right now is kind of creepy

Its probably your hormones why you feel attracted to her. I'm 24 and personally i think Jack Nicholson is great looking guy and a fantastic actor. I wouldn't rush in to telling this woman. Give it time as i said its probably your hormones.
Goodluck :o)

As you grow old then you'll collect your own "wisdom". But honestly she can't be that wise if she making it with a 22 year old. That should be gross for both of you.
