God and Jesus are the same person but you also have the Holy Spirit inside of you if you believe and have faith. I would recommend that you start to read the word and Start with Book of John. To answer the question believe in Jesus becuase he is the only way to get to God. He tells you this in the word with these words "I am the first, the last, the beginning and the end, no one gets to the father but by me." In other words believe in Jesus.

Jesus forgives everyone IF they repent and try to obey God's commandments. Jesus also expects His followers to follow the Ten Commandments. They are mentioned in the New Testament. In the Book of James it says that "faith without works is dead".

God and Jesus are one in the same. God gave the law to Moses to show man his sinful nature and to prepare the way for Jesus. Jesus offers us a better way than the law, but in no way put the law aside. He says that he came to fulfill the law and the prophets. God will not nullify anything that he does because all that he does is perfect and everlasting. The forgiveness of Jesus is that latest act of God in a series of acts for the redemption of mankind. You can accept it or reject it. Each and every one of your actions has a consequence, some good and some bad. We believe all of God's word as it relates to Jesus Christ. Because Jesus is the ultimate prophet (Son of man is a reference to his office of Divine Prophet, as opposed to Ezekiel son of man who was a prophet of God) he is the sum total of all prophecy and should therefore be given preeminence.

Jesus was Gods only son that he sent to die for us. Shortly after that, Jesus ascended & God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit became one.
