No, it only seems that way. Religion is a deeply personal subject, with everyone believing that they are correct and everyone else is wrong. If anyone ever admitted that the other religions or the atheists made any sense, then they would have to question their own beliefs. That's pretty uncomfortable for most people to do. So the endless debate continues.
