I am a christian, and I was just studying the history of Christianity in Europe and Americas. I read about how superstitious beliefs caused many people to be killed by simply being acused of witchcraft. I believe that this is still going on in today's christian world, except they have taken it to a new level and things aren't exactly as it was before. Christians go to people's houses and preach about their beliefs regardless of what the person believes in. I, myself am a christian and there have been many cases where christians of other sects have come to my house trying to force me into accepting their point of view of religion, and when I say I am Christian, they still try to get my mindset on their level of belief. In addition, when I ask them to leave they get mad at me saying that I will go to hell for my beliefs. I really don't understand this. Doesn't anyone think this is the same thing that they did to witches before? now they're doing it to anyone...

I think some people who called themselves Christians were off base and were just cruel and judgemental to the point of murder. People who love Jesus know that is not what He stood for and so we cling to Jesus that is in the Bible. We such stick to the truth of the gospel message and not get weird.

I do and it's refreshing to see a Christian who is so open minded for a change and who is at least willing to ask questions about Christianity.

There are NO 'sects' of Christianity, just Christianity.

You are confusing Catholics with Christians.

Welcome to my world.

I get mormons, Christians and Jehovah's Witnesses at my doorstep, trying to convince me that their faith is the one, true religions and when I tell them I have a faith, they tell me that i will go to hell for it.
