Are you kidding? look around you. People worship any stick or stone that somebody comes along saying is god.
They'll worship the sun, the moon, - hell, I even heard on a tv documentary last night that in some oriental places they worship the penis as life-giver.
Its amazing - even when we have God, people still need to look to other places and things to worship.
God says in Scripture: "go and ask your stalk of wood to save you". And thats exactly what He's gonna be saying to a whole lot of folks when He returns.

Or if you just meant "God", then Mithras was widely worshipped in the lest years of the Roman Empire, and at one pont was a serious rival to Christianity. So instead of Christianity, Mithraism would be the main religion in the west today.

If our GOD had not created man then woman, we would not be here to worship HIM at all. HE created us in HIS image. HE is the reason that we are able to exist at all. You should be reading, studying, and obeying HIS WORD. Have a great day.

your god is not the only one that "we" are worshiping now..
some people worship the universe as god, or the earth, or several different dieties....so....this question really makes no sense......it's almost like...if it weren't for boston cream dunkin donuts, what would we be eating now....well......think about it...
