just wondering how long without food can you go till you lose weight

Lately I have been tired of the lectures because it ignored the peoples question which is why they came here to ask.

Anyhow, yes you will lose weight however your metabolism will slow down and when you start eating again you can gain all the weight back that you lost, also yoru body might retain all water and make you bloated and you wouldnt see the real weight that you lost. If you are wanting to lose weight to do it slowly and do a lifestyle change and Im sure all those pounds will stay off.

If your drinking alot of water, eat a lil of something because after 3 days you start to feel weak, just try a little of yogert or cottage cheese, or get you some of them special K bars <--- Thats the only thing I ate, an drinking alot or water with only eatting very little food will make you lose weight fast.... So Good Luck hun!!!
An buy the way, dont listen to other ppl on here, when they say youll gain it right back... After ANY diet an you go back to ur old eatting habits you are gonna gain some weight back cause you eatting alittle more, but hun your not gonna gain it all back cause ive done it lots of times so go for it as long as you can!!! (not without eatting nothen at all though)

In reply to the guy above me, the whole more muscle = more mass etc...is true. But, more muscle (with good diet) = lower body fat. Your muscles require calories to be maintained. Upping calories causes growth and weight gain - not necessarily fat gain, and lower calories = lowering bodyfat (and dependant on diet can lose muscle too). Okay, so, your training. Personally, I think you're doing A LOT of training. What I would do personally, is change it around. Do your fully body training weights workouts on your 3 days per week, - but do this VERY intensely with short rest periods between exercises and sets. Aim for a 45 minute workout. Stretch - go home. Then on your rest days do 20-30mins of interval cardio - push this as hard as you possibly can. Eat 1800-2200 calories per day - (aim to lose around 1-2lb per week at a steady pace) Also on your off days try abs? If you aren't including an abdominal workout in your full body training. About 2lbs... but the day after you'll gain it back and even weigh more than when you started. I really don't reccomend it. I've done it, passed out, felt like crap, it's such a bad idea. It's probably more effective to eat as many fruits and vegtables, no corn or beans, as you want for 48 hours and drink only water.

i wouldn't reccomend it love, and probably not. if you seriously want to go ahead, i'd advise eating soup every meal for a few days instead, to make sure you get the nutrients but not too many calories, this will work better as your body won't go into starvation mode and conserve fat. the weight loss will also be more sustainable.

you should not go with out food actually eating good food alot will help lose weight and do not drink no more then a gallon of water in a day you can die!

stand up and walk atleast 5 mins after evry 2 hours while working

that would work if you live without eating but in 2 days it will not work
