Get Limewire Basic, then look up LimeWire Pro. Somebodys done the community a great service by putting the installer as a file onto LimeWire Basic. Download this, then launch the installer. I don't think it gives you a free account, but it does definitely give you LimeWire Pro.

I dont think you can get Limewire Pro free just the ordinary Limewire.

Limewire is good software i still use it to this day. I really like Limewire, I'm actually an avid user of it. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. If you are looking for a good peer to peer software to download music, softwares/programs and videos you should get limewire too.
It's a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. It does not matter what P2P program you use, you always have to be cautious about what you download.
Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.

http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

you cant get a lime wire pro account for free but you can get limewire free
for free download for limewire goto http://www.limewire.com/english/content/home.shtml
theres also a bit to pay and upgrade to limewire pro there

Just look on LIMEWIRE BASIC for limewire pro...don't download the exe files or rar files just zip files
