I have been on a lunch cruise on navy pier, it was a nice experience, nothing high class or anything, just good food and some dancing i would beware going during the end of the school year period, the boats tend to be filled with young adolecents celebrating graduations on school trips.

I've been on a tour ship and a cruise ship. It all depends on the weather and which ship you're on. If you get seasick, I suggest taking something before hand. Especially now because the lake is choppy. My senior banquet was on a cruise ship and it was very nice. The view is wonderful and the ships do a good job of entertaining everyone with food and music. If you're planning on being on the upper level, I suggest bringing a jacket because it gets quite chilly.

I was on a navy pier several times back in the 80's waiting for the USS Nimitz CVN 68 in Va to come in Got to go aboard the Nimitz several times, i was a dependant. It was ok just a long wait because they had to wait for the tide to change and all. I also was on a casino boat in Myrtle Beach So Carolina it also was ok. I went on a dependants day cruise on the USS Frank Cable in the 90's in So.Carolina it was fun.

Mary O really is blond I think, given her answer.
Navy Pier is in Chicago Mary, no aircraft carriers there.
Yes, the cruise is as good as the weather, so make sure it's warm and calm and you wil really enjoy it.

Last time I went, I beleive I went on the El Presidente Architecture Tour with people from out of town (very similar to the Wendella boats). It was a nice ride, and my guests really liked it too.
My grandma always used to take me on the Wendella boats (http://www.wendellaboats.com) when I was little, and I really enjoyed going with her. Boat trips around Chicago are incredible!

I booked the Evening Star through Shoreline Sightseeing for a bunch of friends. I paid for the all-you-can-drink-before-you-puke-over-the-edge package and it was well worth it. Definitely go early evening/late afternoon.

there is strict regulations on what they could and can't promote off, and in many cases cruise ships attempt no longer to ought to promote off some thing overboard, they carry each and every thing till they could offload it in port and get it processed.
