The upside down cross in Peter's case was requested by Peter because since Jesus was crucified upright Peter felt that he was unworthy to even be crucified in the same way as christ was.
So,in this case the upside down cross symbolizes unworthiness but through time it has long since been converted into being symbolized as evil.
The star of David symbolizes King David, the King of Israel at that time and it has been carried on as the symbol of Israel but then David was Israel.

We do not know for a fact that Peter was crucified upside down, if so it would have been because of his humility in believing that he was not worthy to die as Christ did, this is a different concept to the satanist who dis-honors the cross of Christ by inverting it,by this action the satanist is mocking the cross unlike Peter who wanted to honor it.

The Star of David symbolizes Gods rule of all directions in the Universe, North, South, East, West, Up and Down. As far as the inverted cross, it's a stupid thing.

I don't know; Peter chose to be crucified upside down because he didn't think he was good enough to be crucified in the same manner as his Master, the Lord Jesus Christ.
