Yes. God is ever forgiving. He knows we aren't perfect, just forgiven. The church secretary needs to explain to God what she did and why, then start all over again trying to be in God's good graces.

WOW that is one RICH church... Yes they can receive forgiveness. Confessing that one will mean jail for a very long time. With that much there would have to also be a good sum that could be restored to the church. One one could fritter away that kind of cash... Jim

I believe that once a person exercises saving faith in Jesus Christ, he or she is forever in the family of God. God never kicks anyone our of his forever family. A number of Scripture passages support this view. For example, in 1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.
Another fact we need to keep in mind is that Christ regularly prays for each Christian (Hewbews 7:25). With Jesus interceding for us, we are sucure. (His prayers are always answered!)
Of course, the fact that a believer is secure in his salvation does not mean he is free to sin. If the Christian sins and remains in that sin, Scripture says that God will discipline him or her just as a father disciplines his children (see Hebrews 12:7-11).

if that person is truly repentant. There is no sin that God cannot forgive through the Cross of Jesus. Repentance is not just being sorry that we were caught, but turning from the sin back to God.

Yes.
Think to the men who was punish by mens on the cross, near Jesus Christ. This men reconized his sin, said sorry because his sin ,believed in Jesus Christ(when he said that he deserve the punishment but Jesus not) and ask for the Help of Jesus, when he said 'Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom ' (Bible/NT Luke 23:42)Jesus answered him, 'I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in Paradise.'
That meens the men was forgived by God in The Name of Jesus.
All sins can be forgived by God in The Name of Jesus and what God forgived, mens mustn't speak about them at all. All days are given to mens by God ,to be a new chance to begin a new life in God.
We must ask for the Clemency of God, not for the Justice of God, because we all have sins, and sins what we can't reconized yet.

If this person ask God to forgive them and they are sincere about it then God will forgive them.
Its not so much important if you or I forgive or don't forgive them but what is important is that God forgives for God is a loving, forgiving and merciful God and anything that one has done and ask God for forgiveness is between that person and God.
Who are we to say what God can forgive and can't forgive?

Well if the guy who stole honestly regrets doing it then sure. But without regret there's nothing that can be done.
Also, you should inform your church. "Treat others as you want to be treated."

Some of them seem to imagine that faith atones for all sins-obviously it's a delusion. You can never escape karma.
