I have a naturally round face. When I put curls in my hair (with my tongs) my face seems to appear 'rounder' than when I use my hair straightners on it.

Do curls make your face look rounder than straightened hair or am I just seeing things?!
Thanks,
Lorna

It will make you whole head look bigger, with a round face that may not be good, try it and see. A bob may be a better choice.

Depends on the shape of your face along with the type of curls you are talking about (tight curls, long, loose, wavy curls). How long your hair is will also affect whether the curls give your face a fuller look or not. Look through magazines to get a better idea. I personally think with a round face you want to go with straighter or very loose curls and cut your hair at a length where it will make your best features really pop - whether it's your eyes, jaw line, etc.

Yes because
1) Curls have more volume than straight hair so they poof out more
2) Curling you hair makes it shorter. Round faces and short hair (especially bobs) just make your face look rounder.

They make your face shape appear wide, yes. But curls are lovely. As are rounder faces... If you're worried you could always go for looser spiralling curls with more length and less width in the curl...

I think the length of hair effects how round your face looks more than being curly or straight. If you think it makes your face look rounder, it probably does, you know you're own face best.

Sometimes it does. It depends on how long your hair is. If your hair is short (just below shoulders and up) then it probably will. But if your hair is longer than that, your face will probably look normal. If you think it makes your face look fatter, maybe you could let your hair grow out a little bit and get layers.

if you have a round face it,s better to have layered hair on the face but if you want it curly try pinning some of the curls back that will take the roundness of

It also make your hair look fuller it may appear poofy but its not really!! I think you should try curls and see how your friends and family comment on it

ppl with round faces look like they have even rounder faces when they curl their hair, thats y curls suit ppl with really thin faces, or oval faces.

im sorry to burst womens bubbles but the truth is; a fat face makes the face look fat.
Your pretty much dressing up for other girls cos they pay the most attention to your overall appearance.

No straight man would say "I had to turn Angelina Jolie down for wild sex cos her hair at that particular moment made he face look a bit fat".
