The Word of God is prophecy. All valid prophecy is of and through the word of God. Prophecy in general ended with the close of the Book of Revelation; however, we can prophecy over people using the Word of God. All such prophecy should be positive---never give negative prophecy using the word of God to anyone, or it will rebound back to you. this is not superstition, but fact. As you sow, so shall you reap. If you sow negative, then you shall reap negative. Like attracts like in the spiritual realm. If you want good things in your life then sow good things. A farmer will only sow good seed into good ground that he may obtain an abundant harvest. Yet, too many people sow bad seed into their lives, and then wonder why bad things happen to them. Be a good prophet in your own life and sow good seeds. this is the true gift of prophecy.
