Ok I downloaded the adobe flash player thing but how do you make a flash animation? Ive tried to find the Adobe Flash Player on my computer but I cant. I think its just for playing certain movies on websites. Does anyone know how exactly to make a flash animation and what program to use?

The Flash player plays .swf files / compiled flash files. You can make flash animations with adobe flash available at www.adobe.com. Once you have that I recommend you read the help text, get a good flash book, or check out some video tutorial sites.

The Adobe Flash Player is more like a plug-in, used to play flash movies, not create them.

You need the actual Macromedia Flash program to create animations. Not the player.
As far as how to do it, that's a long process. I would recommend reading up on the internet. But I will say that with some creative and artisitic background, you'll have no problems making animations with a little practice.

Adobe generally comes out with two types of programs.One that are user friendly and free to download and they are ofcourse very useful. Adobe Reder or Adobe Flash player are the example of the first type of softwares.
Second type of softwares are those which are used to create these like Adobe Standard.

What you have is a "player" of flash movies, ONLY. To make a flash production, you need the software, Macromedia puts out, called Flash. Not sure what version is current, but, Adobe bought it out last year. Go to" http://www.adobe.com and they may still have a 30 day trial version for downloading.

The program you used is right & latest too. But need to know the programming language through which it is maked.
