If so, why aren't you in church?

Could have something to do with freezing rain, ice, and snow. How about you?

Yes, I am here. I live a good 45 mins from the Church that I attend. I have to travel county roads to get there and right now we are having some pretty bad weather. My husband has a sore back. Sounds like excuses, eh? But that is the way it is here on the home front.

Christian here. Apparently you do not go to church or else you would know that most churches do not start until 10 am. In eastern time zone it is 9:40 which means I have to walk out the door right now but in other time zoned it is 8:40 and earlier so they wouldn't be going to church for another hour.

Maybe you should check into going to church instead of trying to make fun of and persecute people who do go and have something to believe in.

John 3:16-

For God so loved the world that he gavest his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Yes, indeed. I don't need a church in order to believe in God and Jesus. I have a problem with organized religion(churches.) So many times it seems that a handful of people run a church and everyone else just has to follow along. There are a lot of egos that need to be stroked there too. I'm not saying my way is for everybody, just for me.

Because of the bad weather we are not having the early morning service. I will be going to Sunday School at 9:40AM and to the 10:45AM Church service. Are you going or have you been already? What part of the country are you in? I am in the CTZ (Central Time Zone).

If you haven't been then do go. Don't preach what you don't put into practice yourself.

Because I don't have a church. I can't find one that isn't run like a business and that preaches the unadulterated gospel and not a gospel of selfishness and monetary blessings. "I'm sick of hearing, "Give your money to us and God will give you a hundred fold back!" First of all, true Christians aren't in it to make money, they're in it to serve the Lord Jesus and secondly, they tell us to give out of faith. Why don't they have faith that God will provide for them without having to use these tactics to get people to give to them?

I am here. I already went to the church yesterday. I will go to two Bible studies today, one is at my church and one is at my friend's house.

The church is the body of Christ.
The church is not some building.

1Co 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

I'm too sick to go to Church (don't want to infect my fellow parishioners), so I'm answering questions here. When I feel too awful, I'll go lie down again.

Achoo!

SO = = WHY = = AREN'T YOU?

(Hebrews 10:22-to-25) let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies having been washed with pure water.

(Heb 10:23) Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering (for He is faithful who promised),

(Heb 10:24) and let us consider one another to provoke to love and to good works,

(Heb 10:25) not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.

Thanks, RR
