Dogs have been known to eat their owners, obviously not because they turned and went wild but because their owners died in the house alone with them, and as the dog can't open cans of dog food, it has to eat the only supply of food available to it.
When a dog eats its owner in this way it does it very begrufgingly, it doesn't like eating the person who kept it alive for so long, but never forget, they are animals and will do what is necessary for it to survive.

I think dogs can eat people. I've never met any that want to, but if a dog is hungry I bet it would chow down on some good human meat.

Of course they can. There have been cases where a person who lived alone died in their home and when the poor dog got hungry it started eating it's owner. To an animal meat is meat!!!!!

What? Yeah, it's physically possible, but they don't really have a natural tendency to do so.
