According to the Bible, "the power of life and death are in the tongue." Yes or No lies within the tongue. Speak It or Say It!

personally I feel that it is the power you gain by standing by your convictions no matter what they are.......even if it goes against what the people around you want. I have very strong feelings when I meet new people and from time to time I have met people that I didn't like from the start (bad vibe) without knowing why and had everyone else around me tell me the person was fine, however I stood by me instincts and usually these people eventually revealed what they where really about one of them turned out to be a pedophile!! Bottom line there is an inner strength to be gained when you say yes or no and stand by it.

It's easy to say "yes" in this world but it's hard to say no. It seems most things we say yes to we should be saying no to, like the lure of sex when it's sin, smoking, drinking eating too much fat or unhealthy foods, etc. There is great power in your words. Your words express your decision and your decision is what makes you or breaks you.

None, if there is no conviction attached to the 'yes' or 'no' given. Plenty if there is. The person saying the words gives them their power.
