The short answer is no. Gum cannot be digested and will pass through your digestive system in about 24 hours. There is really no where for it to get stuck.

No, it will not get stuck in your body.
It will pass through your GI tract and then be expelled like all the other waste products that your body can't use.
But it isn't a good idea to swallow gum all the time.
It isn't meant to be swallowed and it takes extra effort for your body to break it down.
Just spit it out.

i dont know... i swallowed gum before when i was about 5 and it seems to have done no harm. the good thing about swallowing gum is that if a teacher catches you you can just swallow and get out of trouble! works like a charm....... until you choke on it and die

Old wives tale and totally untrue!;
It will not get stuck and if you do swallow it, it will come out in a couple of days the same as the rest of the body waste;

absolutely not. sometimes things like this (chewing gum, hair, or other disgusting things we swallow) might get stuck in your appendix and cause appendicitis, but it's quite rare. all other things pass through in one form or another.

Nope not true. Gum doesn't stick inside your body because it never gets dry.

No it just passes thru your body. Despite this I beleived as a child that it was stored in your Appendix until I was better informed!
