I am and I love being involved in my daughter's life. She is now 16 and she needs me more than ever! I worked part time throughout her life, while my mother watched her, but I have been off for the past year and I couldn't be happier. Nursing will always be there for me when I'm ready to go back.

I'm not an RN, but I am an LPN who gave up a good paying job to stay home with my kids. I felt like they needed me more than the patient I was taking care of. That particular patient has other nurses to be with her, my kids have only one momma and I want to be there for them. I might go back to work somewhere when my boys are in school full time, or I might go back to school myself and get my RN. Haven't decided yet.

I am an RN, but I work, my job allows for straight days and my hours are when my kids are at school. I also only work one weekend in 5, so I am at home for them.

Not me, just wanted to say
Props to you for being a SAHM
I too, left a career behind to raise my daughters, I have never regretted it.
