Makes one wonder, doesn't it????
You see, I'd answered another Question where I pointed out, that in all fairness, we should give the Muslims the due that they Adore Jesus and Mary and that they call Jesus al Masihe or the Messiah, which makes Him Numero Uno!
Surprising thing is that a Muslim, in his answer addressed me and said that Jesus is among the Prophets and that each of the Prophets had a special Title designated to Him!?!?
And that the al Masihe was just one of the Titles designated for Isa [Jesus] by Allah!?!?
I used to think that the Muslims revered Jesus, but now, I can see I was wrong!?!?
Can't trust them Mozzies, anymore!?!?

You should know first, that we Muslims believe that there has been only one religion since the creation of Adam PBUH (being the first Prophet and human being and Muslim on Earth), so Jesus was a Muslim too, however, Jesus PBUH came only to the people of Israel (children of Israel) and not to the whole world, unlike prophet Muhammad PBUH who came to the whole world with the final message of Islam that has abrogated some of the old religious thoughts or actions. We believe that Jesus PBUH when he came with his message of Islam, he used to pray in a simillar way that we Muslims do, he also asked his followers to believe in the coming prophet that will seal the message of Islam, Prophet Muhammad PBUH.
In other words, we follow the teachings of Prophet Jesus PBUH that were not abrogated by the next prophet (Muhammd PBUH).

The islam that we know today is not the same as it was 1500 years ago before the prophet Muhammed (PBUH). prophet Muhammed (PBUH) simply put the last blocks in Islam and that is how Islam has remained for almost 1428 years. We believe that Jesus was ONLY A PROPHET, not the son of God and therefore we dont follow any his teachings UNLESS they were also prophet Muhammed's (PBUH) teachings.

Many religious "beliefs" are based on man-made interpretations.
Not even Muhammad was just a prophet. He was a highly
advanced spirit being that came to our World to
teach the people in that part of the World at that point inTime.
The spirit that Lived as Jesus Christ said he was the Morning
Star. The highest order of spiritual Life, just under Allah.
Heaven is a place of rest and opportunity. As it is not the
highest level of reality. And it takes work to get where Allah
is.
Christ is not a person or religion. It is the embodiment of
our Creators own Body!
"As the body has many members, and those members being many, are one body, so is Christ!"

You really need to get educated.
Jesus is our prophet, but when he came down he came down with another book for the 'Jews', unfortunately it corrupted SO ALLAH sent down the Quran to prophet Mohammad.........and guess what is didn't corrupt so therefore we follow that teaching. And in the Quran it does mention Jesus, and we do respect him.

Well we praise him and respect him but in islam we don't like extremes.
the jews said he wasn't a prophet and the christians said he was god. these are extremes.
He never said that we shouldn't praise the prophet mohamed.
He might of said that he is the way to the truth. However, that didn't mean he is himself the way to the truth, what he ment by it is that his teachings are the truth.
As all muslims agree on he never tought anything different from what the prophet mohamed(PBUH) tought, nothing new. Jesus(PBUH).
Said the exact samethings as the prophet mohamed(PBUH). Nothing different.
The prophet Jesus (PBUH) was sent for a specific group of people. However, the prophet mohamed was sent for the 2 world.
Who is greater jesus(PBUH) or mohamed(PBUH):

their teachings were the same: believe in only ONE God, be a good person, etc...Jesus is not the son of God...tell me, why would God need a son when hes the almighty? and even if he were to have a son, why would he have to be concieved by Mary when he couldve just been sent down? and you do not get throught to God by someone...you pray directly to him...please remember that all prophets taught the same thing...and the first person that answered your question is a jackass

he came before mohammed, and you believe he said not to listen to mohammed? the bibles been edited so many times (and the quran too i guess) that you can't believe either anymore with any degree of certainty. besides, since he came later, is it not possible he is the most recent version from upstairs, and jesus was for an earlier era?
i'm not a muslim nor a christian, and personally i think both groups are wasting their time worrying about prophets when it is the same god.

it is just my idea that each Muslim is a christian and a Jew too because the goal of each prophet was one thing :to show the true way to human to reach god.so you can not say that the things that Jesus (pbuh)has said is different from what Mohammad (pbuh) has said.
