When I saw a specialist doctor, he pointed out that I have joint hypermobility, possibly related to Marfan Syndrome. He also pointed out that it was unusual for my thumbs to bend back at the middle joint to almost 90 degrees - I always thought everyone could do that.
I have just noticed that my big toes can go upwards at a 90 degree angle to my foot.
Can anyone else do this with their toes, or is it also unusual?

No, he didn't give me any advice. He just said to me 'you might have Marfan Syndrome', and he let another specialist have a look and he said the same, then they just left me to it!
There are lots of serious problems associated with it, but they just put the idea in my head then dropped me. What am I meant to do!?

Very unusual and could lead to problems with your joints later on.. I hope your doctor recommended a good work out routine to you!

Right! You need to get a definite diagnose and a treatment plan. The doctors shouldn't treat you like they did! Marfan is quite a serious condition but you can live with it, you just need to know how. These links should help you get started. Maybe if you contact the uk association, they can best advice you on how to proceed! Good luck!
